This summer kids of all ages from babies on up can participate in the Summer Reading Program at the Greece Public Libraries. Both the main branch and Barnard Crossing Branch will offer a fun-filled program designed to get everyone reading this summer.
New this year, is the “Baby and Me” reading program for infants and toddlers up to age three. A special activity packet has been created for babies and parents to share and to develop a life-long love of reading. A great way to begin is with one of our “Read to Me” bags, which include various theme related board books, music, and finger puppets.
Another popular addition to our Summer Reading Program is the “Parent Incentive”. Parents can enter a special prize drawing each week you bring your child to the library. This year’s prizes include a grand prize drawing for an overnight hotel stay!
The Summer Reading Program “Get Creative @ Your Library” kicks off on Saturday, June 27th at 11:00 AM with entertainment for the whole family by “In-Jest”, a theatrical comedic juggling program.
